Dark Venice is a fine art photography series capturing the hidden, melancholic soul of one of the world’s most iconic cities. Shot across Piazza San Marco, the Grand Canal, the Doge’s Palace, and the quiet sottoporteghi of the Rialto, this collection is an introspective exploration inspired by a deep emotional connection with the city.

The dark tones represent the solitude, the sadness and the fear of leaving the place where I was born and grew up. Darkness has always represented an intimate moment to reflect within yourself without distraction — a place to face fears, moments of insecurity, and find strength to overcome them.
